Quebec's black/death metal trio NECRONOMICON will release its new album, "The Return Of The Witch", via Austria's Napalm Records on the following dates:

Commented vocalist/guitarist Rob "The Witch": "The band is very happy to finally join forces with the people at Napalm Records. I feel a good vibe in working with the label and am anxious to bring our music to the metal fans around the world.

"Working on this band for so many years makes me appreciate even more when people believe in our talent, and it's encouraging to know that we'll have a solid team behind us. We look forward to new ventures and meeting die hard and new fans alike on the road."

"The Time is Now", the new video from NECRONOMICON, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in 2008 with Benoit Nantel (GHOULUNATICS, URBAN ALIEN, LES ECORCHES) who "did his best to capture the band's atmosphere and power." NECRONOMICON is said to be "really satisfied" with the end result and plans to work with Nantel again in the near future.

"The Time is Now" comes off "The Return Of The Witch", which was mastered with reputed engineer Maor Appelbaum (HALFORD, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, THERION, etc).

"The Return Of The Witch" features guest appearances by Arianne Fleury (ex-AUGURY) and Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, QUO VADIS),among others.

The band previously stated that the follow-up to 2003's "The Sacred Medicines" would "probably be the fastest and most brutal" CD the group has released thus far.

Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Into The Fire", "Alpha Omega", "The Awakening", and "The Return Of The Witch".
