Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based black/death metallers NECRONOMICON will take a break from recording their new album to make a special appearance in Toronto on December 6. The full lineup and venue will be announced by Altered Paradise Entertainment on November 6.
NECRONOMICON is currently seeking a new label home. According to a posting on the band's MySpace page, "some talks have started with some of them already but nothing as been officially decided or signed."
NECRONOMICON this past spring shot a video for the new song "The Time Is Now" from the band's upcoming album "Return of the Witch".
NECRONOMICON's third album, "Return of the Witch" will feature guest appearances by Arianne Fleury (ex-AUGURY) and Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, QUO VADIS), among others.
The band previously stated that the follow-up to 2003's "The Sacred Medicines" would "probably be the fastest and most brutal" CD the group has released thus far.
Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Into the Fire", "Alpha Omega", "The Awakening", and "Return of the Witch".
