NECROPHOBIC Continuing Work On New Album

February 3, 2009

Stockholm, Sweden-based death/black metallers NECROPHOBIC have issued the following update:

"We now have two new shows coming up. The first one is in Växjö, Sweden on March 27, where we haven't played since 1995, so we hope to fill Kaskaded in Folkets Park to the maximum. The next show after that will be in Germany on the Kings of Black Metal Festival, together with friends WATAIN, MAYHEM and DARK FUNERAL, among others. That massacre will be held in Giessen at Hessenhallen on April 18.

"From the studio, we can report that all drums, guitars, lead guitars and the bass [for the new NECROPHOBIC album] have now been recorded and tomorrow it's time for the demonic vocals to be recorded. As you may already have read on several music news pages and net magazines, the title of the new beast will be 'Death To All'. The album will be released on April 27 (via Regain Records). More info will follow."

Songtitles set to appear on "Death To All" include "For Those Who Stayed Satanic", "Triumph Of The Horned", "Wings Of Death", "The Tower" and "Revelation 666".

Imhotep has uploaded video footage (see below) of NECROPHOBIC performing the new song "For Those Who Stayed Satanic" on December 26, 2008 at Mosebacke in the band's hometown. The concert marked the group's first show with new bassist Alex Friberg.

NECROPHOBIC's latest album, "Hrimthursum", is available through Germany's War Anthem Records on special gatefold vinyl LP with a poster. The follow-up to 2002's "Bloodhymns" was recorded at the House of Voodoo Studio with engineers Anders Bentell and Fredrik Folkare (guitarist and producer of UNLEASHED) and was mastered at Tailor Maid Production in Stockholm with Peter In de Betou.
