"Marty has decided that his family is a higher priority at this point in time and can no longer divide his time between the two," the group writes in a press release.
Prior to Light's departure, NECROPOLIS was gearing up for a summer-long string of shows throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio. As a result of Marty's exit, all previously scheduled shows have been cancelled. The band is now planning on entering the studio as soon as a replacement drummer has been found to begin recording the follow-up to 2006's "Born to Darkness".
