NEGATIVA On Upcoming Mini-CD: 'The Production Is Huge!'

October 1, 2006

NEGATIVA, the Quebec-based band featuring former GORGUTS members Steeve Hurdle (guitar, vocals) and Luc Lemay (guitar, vocals),along with Etienne Gallo (drums, ex-AUGURY) and Miguel Valade (bass, ex-ION DISSONANCE),has finished recording three songs at Wild Studio with producers Pierre Remillard and Jean-Yves Theriault (a.k.a. Blacky, former bassist of VOIVOD).

Commented Hurdle: "We're back from the studio and we're more pumped than ever. We had an amazing experience working with Pierre again who knows exactly how to get the best out of us. Having the chance to work also with Jean-Yves was great and we're so honored to have had this opportunity. The production is fucking huge!!!!! Pierre and Jean-Yves have captured the true essence of our music and made it sound loud and clear. The feeling of being there was so overwhelming for all of us and we had such a good time too. The bond between us is better than ever and we're looking forward to write more crazy stuff."

Songtitles set to appear on the mini-CD are "Chaos in Motion" (4:35),"Taedium Vitae" (9:32) and "Rebellion" (6:11). The album will be available in November via Prodisk as a limited-edition of 1,000 copies. The disc will also contain enhanced material including video footage and photos taken during the recording sessions.
