NEGURA BUNGET Signs With LUPUS LOUNGE

September 27, 2007

Transylvanian black metallers NEGURA BUNGET have inked a deal with Lupus Lounge. According to the band, the label "will release our old albums, prior to our contract with Code666 Records, a new version of our Maiastru sfetnic album, as well as some new albums after the end of our current deal with Code666 Records."

Code666 recently inked a Chinese license deal with Area Death Productions from Beijing, for the domestic release of the cult albums "Om" and "N Crugu Bradului" from NEGURA BUNGET, both featuring bonus tracks and exclusive material for the Chinese market.

NEGURA BUNGET's latest album, entitled "Om" (Human),was released in November 2006 via Code666. "Om" is said to be a "concept album dealing with purification, part of a ritual to transform the listener into an evolved individual," according to a press release. The CD was made available in a very special limited edition — a deluxe eight-panel double digipack, including the standard audio CD and a bonus DVD disc with a music video, in-depth interview with the band, live footage, and special unreleased exclusive material.
