NEKROGOBLIKON Releases 'The Boiling Sea' Music Video Captured At AFTERSHOCK 2026 Festival

October 23, 2026

Goblin metal's least likely legends NEKROGOBLIKON are bringing the goblin mayhem straight to the stage with the release of a new live music video for "The Boiling Sea", the title track from their latest EP. Captured at Aftershock festival 2026, the performance delivers the band's signature blend of extreme metal, theatrical chaos and larger-than-life live energy.

The release arrives as NEKROGOBLIKON celebrate 20 years of goblin-fueled metal on their North American anniversary tour, while frontman John Goblikon continues expanding the band's world beyond the stage. The first three episodes of John's new horror-comedy series "No One Survives" are now streaming, while new episodes of "Right Now With John Goblikon" drop every Tuesday through All Things Comedy.

With the original "No One Survives" music video surpassing 10 million YouTube views, NEKROGOBLIKON's uniquely unhinged brand of metal and comedy continues to reach well beyond the traditional heavy music audience.

NEKROGOBLIKON's latest EP, "The Boiling Sea", came out on April 17.

Produced and mixed by metal mastermind Jason Suecof (JOB FOR A COWBOY, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER),"The Boiling Sea" is a high-octane proving ground for the band's new dual-vocal onslaught, first teased by the 2025 double-feature videos for "Show Me Your Goblin" and "Fiend".

NEKROGOBLIKON guitarist Alex Alereza stated about "The Boiling Sea": "Writing for this release began in the midst of constant touring and right after bringing on a new vocal duo, so we found ourselves in new territories both in terms of pace and creative process. And that ended up being a good thing! We had a blast making this together and hope everyone enjoys these songs as much as we do. And for the NEKRO fans that have been with us for a very long time, we decided to include live recordings of five NEKRO classics!"
