NEURAXIS Begins Writing New Material

January 11, 2010

Montreal-based death metallers NEURAXIS have commenced the songwriting process for their new album — the band's first to feature the contributions of the group's latest additions, drummer Olivier Beaudoin and bassist Olivier Pinard.

Commented vocalist Alex Leblanc: "[The songwriting is] going extremely well. We are working on three new songs right now, one of which is already finished.

"The chemistry with the new guys is awesome. They really bring tons of energy to the band. Both of them are bringing fresh ideas to the mix and are really creative.

"The writing is going a lot faster than we expected so fans won't have to wait a long time to hear it.

"The new material sounds phenomenal. Vicious, dark and epic are the words that come to mind when you listen to the new songs.

"Expect a brand new beast from this one. You guys won't believe it!"
