NEUROTICA Frontman Teams Up With Former GUNS N' ROSES Members In New Band

NEUROTICA singer Kelly Shaefer (formerly of prog-thrash legends ATHEIST) has been tapped to front the new band featuring former GUNS N' ROSES members Slash (guitar),Duff McKagan (bass) and Matt Sorum (drums),according to Slash's official fan site, Details are sketchy at the moment, but it appears that Shaefer and the former Gunners made the hook-up during the down time following NEUROTICA's U.S. tour as part of Ozzfest 2002 and are currently working on the material for the band's forthcoming debut album, due sometime in 2003. Kelly is expected to remain a member of NEUROTICA, who recently parted ways with Smackdown/Koch International Records and are said to be in the process of seeking a new record deal. NEUROTICA's next live performance will take place on October 31st at Club Diamonds in Bradenton, Florida.
