NEUROTICA Reunites For Florida Concert

July 26, 2007

On Friday, August 31. Florida's NEUROTICA will kick off Labor Day weekend and reunite for a special show at Gallery Billiards in Sarasota, Florida. This will mark the group's first show in seven years with original drummer G.J. Gosman, who played on all of the NEUROTICA records.

NEUROTICA finished out in 2002 with a slew of roaring performances on Ozzfest, which led to Rolling Stone magazine calling the group one of the 10 best bands to see on the festival. NEUROTICA frontman Kelly Shaefer, who recently completed a slew of reunion performances with the technical metal pioneers ATHEIST, states, "After an amazing year with the reunion of ATHEIST, I am so excited that the time has come to put this band back on stage and see how it feels."

NEUROTICA is working on a European release of a collection of songs from the band's two domestic CDs, "Seed" (produced by AC/DC's Brian Johnson) and 2002's self-titled album. "We hope to have a deal in place to get it on shelves by spring 2008," says Shaefer.

He adds, "We went through a lot of shit as a band during those days, and it was a tough ride, but we have all grown from that, and I look forward to crushing on stage with my good friends again."

NEUROTICA 2007 lineup:

Kelly Shaefer - Vocals
Shawn Bowen - Guitar
Louis Polito - Guitar
Migwell - Bass
G.J. Gosman - drums
