NEVERMORE Frontman: 'As The Curtain Falls On GIGANTOUR…'

September 12, 2005

NEVERMORE frontman Warrel Dane has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of Gigantour.com:

"I must give a very big thank you to all the Neverheadz that came out to see us, the new fans we've made, the cast and crew of Gigantour 1, and especially Dave Mustaine for making this all come together.... The last show tonight was the highlight for me, getting to go onstage with Dave and the boys and sing 'Back in the Day', I feel like I've come full circle since the SANCTUARY days on tour with MEGADETH for the 'So Far So Good...So What' tour, and Dave really looked surprised when everyone poured onstage to sing him 'Happy Birthday!'

"I'm sitting in our dressing room now, my head full of great memories that I will carry with me forever. We've made so many new friends, the bands, the crew, were all such great people and the fans at all the shows were so awesome..... the seed has been planted and I'm excited to see who's on board next year!"

NEVERMORE are currently touring in support of their latest album, "This Godless Endeavor", which entered the official German Top 100 Album chart at position No. 26. The CD has also debuted at position No. 51 in Italy.

NEVERMORE recorded "This Godless Endeavor" at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K. with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ARCH ENEMY, EXODUS, OPETH),who has previously worked with the band on their "Dead Heart In a Dead World" CD.

NEVERMORE will embark on a European headlining tour beginning on September 15. Support on the trek will come from MERCENARY and DEW-SCENTED.
