New ANTHRAX Singer: Being Compared To JOHN BUSH Is 'A Huge Compliment'

Erin Carlson of The Associated Press recently conducted an interview with new ANTHRAX frontman Dan Nelson (Photo#1, Photo#2, Photo#3, Photo#4). A few excerpts from the chat follow:

On wanting to honor ANTHRAX's legacy, but also stay true to himself:

"I like to think I have my own voice, but a lot of people are saying I'm very similar to (former singer) John Bush. Which is a HUGE compliment since John Bush is a metal god. And people keep asking: Are you going to fill John Bush's shoes? Let me make one thing clear: No way. John Bush is the man. I'm looking to do a re-start with ANTHRAX the same way John did when he took (Joey Belladonna's) place."
