New MEGADETH Guitarist: 'I'm Happy With How Things Are Turning Out'

New MEGADETH guitarist Chris Broderick (ex-JAG PANZER, NEVERMORE) has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the band's web site:

"So I just finished the third gig [of MEGADETH's European tour]!!!! In Oslo, Norway, and it was a great time. I'm still working on some things but they are getting better all the time. Overall I'm happy with how things are turning out, I just hope all of you are as well. Ahahahaha!!!!"

Fan-filmed video footage of Chris Broderick performing the classic "Tornado of Souls" solo at the opening concert of MEGADETH's European tour Monday night (February 4) in Helsinki, Finland can be viewed below.

The third installment of the U.S. Gigantour — the acclaimed traveling heavy music festival launched in 2005 by Mustaine — will launch April 12 in Denver, CO with headliner MEGADETH, Swedish metal band IN FLAMES, Finland's CHILDREN OF BODOM, Arizona's modern extreme JOB FOR A COWBOY and Oakland, CA heavy power trio HIGH ON FIRE all confirmed. The 29-date trek will criss-cross North America and wraps May 22 in Phoenix, AZ.
