NEW YORK DOLLS To Headline HOBOKEN ART & MUSIC FESTIVAL; British TV Appearance Scheduled

September 9, 2006

NEW YORK DOLLS will headline the Hoboken Art & Music Festival on Sunday, September 24 in Hoboken, New Jersey. This is a free and all-ages show. The DOLLS will be on stage at 4:30 p.m. The band will then head to London at the end of the month to tape the "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" show (BBC) before beginning their first-ever European tour in support of the new release, "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This".

"One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This" sold 7,000 copies in its first week of release in late July to debut at position No. 129 on The Billboard 200 chart. The initial pressing of NEW YORK DOLLS' first studio album in over 30 years will included a special 45-minute "making-of" DVD as well as the bonus track "17". The DVD, shot and compiled by Walker Lamond, will contain witty and insightful candid studio moments with founding members Johansen, Sylvain and the rest of the DOLLS, as well as footage of guest artists and legendary producer Jack Douglas (JOHN LENNON, AEROSMITH).
