NEW YORK DOLLS Tribute Album Due Next Month

December 13, 2004

FastLane Records has pushed back the release of the NEW YORK DOLLS tribute album, entitled "A Tribute to the New York Dolls: Jetboys of Babylon", to January 6, 2005. "The delay of the release has fallen on some last minute changes that had to be made to correct some glitches and overall sound quality as well as some lineup changes," reads an official press release. "This tribute is nothing short of remarkable and a labor of love, dedicated to one of the most influential true rock bands of our era." Among the cuts set to appear on the CD is FRANKENSTEIN 3000's version of "Babylon", featuring NEW YORK DOLLS frontman David Johansen.
