NIFELHEIM To Support VENOM On 'Scandinavian 7 Dates Tour'

May 16, 2007

Although there has been no official announcement on the matter, several web sites and ticketing agencies are reporting that Swedish cult act NIFELHEIM will support British black metal pioneers VENOM on their "Scandinavian 7 Dates Tour" beginning late May. The dates are as follows:

May 23 - Copenhagen, Denmark @ Pumpehuset
May 24 - Stockholm, Sweden @ Klubben
May 26 - Oulu, Finland @ Teatria
May 27 - Helsinki, Finland @ Nosturi
May 29 - Oslo, Norway @ Betong
May 30 - Goteborg, Sweden @ Karen
May 31 - Malmö, Sweden @ KB

NIFELHEIM last year released a split EP with VULCANO via I Hate Records. NIFELHEIM's songs "Sepulcral Fornication" and "Raging Flames" were recorded at a Swedish studio in May 2006 and were described by NIFELHEIM guitarist Vengeance From Beyond (a.k.a. Sebastian Ramstedt; also in NECROPHOBIC) as "a total attack of satanic black metal." He added that "this split [is] the true synergy of evil."

NIFELHEIM's current lineup features former ENTOMBED drummer Peter Stjärnvind, who left the long-running Swedish metallers in order to concentrate on his membership in NIFELHEIM.

NIFELHEIM is:

Hellbutcher - Vocals
Tyrant - Bass
Vengeance From Beyond - Lead Guitar
Apocalyptic Desolator - Rhythm Guitar
Insulter of Jesus Christ! - Drums
