NIGHTMARE To Begin Recording In May

March 5, 2007

French heavy metallers NIGHTMARE have posted several live video clips on their MySpace page from the band's comeback gig in 1999, their Metal Meltdown appearance in New Jersey in 2002 and the Metallian European tour in 2004. Check them out at this location.

NIGHTMARE recently started pre-production for its sixth studio album. After three albums that were helmed by Norwegian producer Terje Refsnes, the band has now opted for a new challenge.

The recording will start May 7 at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL, DREAM EVIL). The follow-up to 2005's "The Dominion Gate" will be released in the fall by Sweden's Regain Records. A European tour will follow. The band has also joined forces with international booking agent MDM Concerts in Germany in cooperation with Blue Steel Agency.
