NIGHTRAGE Forced To End U.S. Tour Early

Sweden's NIGHTRAGE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"[Saturday] night [Oct. 1] we played at Chicago's own Metro. It was a good night as many days have been on this tour. But we have been forced to end this tour today due to tour problems. The time here in America has been a great experience, and NIGHTRAGE has grown stronger for each and every day. If you got any pictures from any show feel free to contact us.

"We would like to say thanks to all of you guys that supported and went crazy with us on this trip. We aim to come back as soon as we can. Greetings to our new friends in all the bands that we shared the stage with every night, you made this tour a great recollection for NIGHTRAGE.

"We have also some bad news for our Greek fans. The Greek shows has been canceled by the promoter. We have nothing to do with this. We just got an e-mail from our booking agent and he just told us that the shows is off without any explanation at all. We hope to book some new dates as soon as possible."

NIGHTRAGE recently parted ways with vocalist Tomas Lindberg (ex-AT THE GATES, THE CROWN) due to scheduling conflicts. Replacing Lindberg on the microphone is Jimmie Strimell.

NIGHTRAGE's sophomore album, "Descent Into Chaos", was released earlier this year via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Sweet Vengeance" was mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Patrik J. Sten and was mastered at Tailor Maid Production in Stockholm with Peter in de Betou.
