NIGHTWISH Film Video For 'I Wish I Had An Angel'

May 24, 2004

NIGHTWISH are currently in Germany filming the video for the song "I Wish I Had An Angel". The song, which is expected to be released as the second single from the group's upcoming album, "Once", will appear on the soundtrack to the new movie "Alone In The Dark", starring Christian Slater and Tara Reid. Directing the video clip and the movie is Uwe Boll. The film is expected to receive a theatrical release this fall. "I Wish I Had An Angel" is the folow-up single to "Nemo", which has just been certified platinum in Finland for sales in excess of 10,000 copies.

As previously reported, NIGHTWISH have set a June 7 Finnish release date through Spinefarm Records for their new album, "Once". NIGHTWISH will launch their world tour in support of "Once", dubbed "Once Upon A Tour 2004-2005", this summer. The trek is expected to last until the autumn of 2005.
