NIGHTWISH, PARADISE LOST Members To Guest On This Week's 'The Governor's Ball'

NIGHTWISH was honored in the "Best-Selling Artist - Scandinavia" category at the World Music Awards Sunday night (November 4) in Monte Carlo.
The World Music Awards (founded in 1989) is an international awards show that annually honors recording artists based on their worldwide sales figures, which are provided by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
NIGHTWISH's new album, "Dark Passion Play", was recently certified gold in Sweden for sales in excess of 30,000 copies. The CD, which has already achieved triple-platinum status in Finland after selling more than 90,000 copies, has shifted 26,000 units in the United States since its October 2, 2007 release.
PARADISE LOST filmed the newest promotional video for the "In Requiem" album, for the song "Unreachable", on Tuesday, November 6 at Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Glendale and Malibu, California. The clip was directed by Diran Noubar of Karmantra/Kayane Productions, who directed the soon-to-be-released "Over the Madness" documentary about PARADISE LOST, as well as the video for the song "Baby" for Serj Tankian (SYSTEM OF A DOWN).
