NIGHTWISH: Quebec City Show Announced; More Concert Footage Available

Another date has been released for NIGHTWISH's upcoming spring 2008 North American tour: May 9, 2008 at Centre de Foires in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. This show is now on sale through EnterTheVault.com.

To help accomodate the demand for tickets for NIGHTWISH's sold-out concert at the Metropolis this Sunday, October 21, tickets for May 9, 2008 show in Quebec City will be on sale at the Metropolis starting Sunday afternoon and will be available for purchase throughout the day and night. This will be the only other way to purchase tickets other than EnterTheVault.com until early December.

There will be a limited number of VIP tickets for this gig which will include early entry to the venue on the night of the concert and a customized autographed poster.

As previously reported, other dates for NIGHTWISH's upcoming spring 2008 North American tour include May 15 at The Drink in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; May 6 at the Webster Theater in Hartford, Connecticut; May 22 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California; and May 24 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Regina and Quebec City gigs will be part of an extensive Canadian run in the middle of the tour, which will be officially announced on November 7.

NIGHTWISH kicked off its current U.S. tour Monday night (October 15) at Jaxx in West Springfield, Virginia. Fan-filmed video footage of the band performing the song "Bye Bye Beautiful" (opening track of the group's set) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 16, 2007 can be viewed below.

NIGHTWISH mainman Tuomas Holopainen told a Finnish TV station that the band has just finished shooting the third video from its latest CD, "Dark Passion Play". The clip for an as-yet-undisclosed song was shot in Rovaniemi, Finland with director Tuomas "Stobe" Harju. Ilkka Immonen of Lapland Studio Oy produced the video.
