NIGHTWISH Singer To Help Promote MARTIN KESICI's Single

January 17, 2005

NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen will be traveling to Germany the first week of February to do promotion with German "Star Search" winner Martin Kesici for their joint single "Leaving You For Me".

The "Leaving You for Me" single is scheduled for release on January 31. The single will include the promotional video for the song, which can be viewed at Viva.tv (choose connection and player). Check out the photos from the video shoot, which took place last October at Rosala Center (Viking Village) on the west coast of Finland, at this location.

In other news, Tarja's Christmas solo single, "Yhden Enkelin Unelma" (One Angel's Dream),is currently at No. 4 on the Finnish singles chart after five weeks. According to a posting on Tarja's web site, the reason the single has dropped out of the Top 3 is mostly the fact that the single is no longer available in the shops (it will be made available again next Christmas). The CD is still available for purchase online via Tarja's web site.
