NIKKI SIXX Guests On 'Red Eye'; Video Available
September 19, 2007MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx's guest spot on the FOX News program "Red Eye" is now available for viewing at this location.
Sixx's "The Heroin Diaries" book came out yesterday (September 18). The book is taken from actual journals Sixx kept in the late '80s while in the grip of a near-fatal heroin addiction.
A soundtrack album, which Sixx recorded under the name SIXX: A.M., came out last month. It debuted on the Billboard album chart at No. 63, selling 11,000 copies.
An acoustic version of the song "Life is Beautiful", which appears on the SIXX: A.M. album, is available for streaming on Nikki's MySpace page.
Twenty-five percent of Sixx's royalties from the book will go to Running Wild In The Night, a charity he established in conjunction with Covenant House to rescue homeless and runaway youth from the streets.
Sixx will go on a publicity tour to sign copies of the book, beginning on September 18 at Borders in the Westwood district of Los Angeles.
