NIKKI SIXX's 'Sixx Sense' Adds 50th Affiliate

November 24, 2010

MÖTLEY CRÜE/SIXX: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx's nationally syndicated radio show "Sixx Sense With Nikki Sixx" from Premiere Radio Networks has added its 50th affiliate.

Commented Sixx, "Radio has always been such an important part of my life, whether as a musician or a fan, and to be able to do this every day has been a dream come true. And to think, we're just getting started. The shows are a great excuse to interview the coolest, most interesting people who I want to talk to from Dave Grohl to Slash and Ozzy and the authors of my favorite books."

"We're extremely proud of the continued growth and success of 'Sixx Sense With Nikki Sixx'," added Jennifer Leimgruber, SVP of programming for Premiere Radio Networks. "In less than a year, we've developed a program that attracts top-tier rock/alternative stations, music artists, celebrities and sponsors alike, and much of that can be attributed to Nikki's endless enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to radio. We look forward to reaching many more milestones together."

Since launching last February, "Sixx Sense With Nikki Sixx" is fast becoming the place to hear it first for guests from all walks of life, including rock royalty, the first man on the moon, authors, actors and everyone in between. Dave Grohl, Jared Leto, Lemmy Kilmister, Perez Hilton, Kat Von D, "CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker, "Four Agreements" author Don Miguel Ruiz, Dog The Bounty Hunter and others have joined Sixx and his co-host Kerri Kasem for their special brand of conversation. In addition, they've world-premiered albums and songs for artists and bands like BUCKCHERRY, DROWNING POOL and Slash and hosted the announcement for this past summer's Ozzfest.
