NIKKI SIXX Says Girlfriend KAT VON D Keeps Him Inspired

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has told People.com that his girlfriend of about eight months, "L.A. Ink" star Kat Von D, keeps him inspired.

"She's so into art," says Sixx. "I learn from her all the time and we just keep getting closer."

According to Sixx, who has four children from previous relationships, their age difference — he's 49, she's 26 — has never been an issue.

"You're only as old as the girl you're with," he says. "I stole that line from Katherine."
