NILE Drummer Quits SICKENING HORROR
February 25, 2007NILE drummer George Kollias has officially quit his Greece-based band SICKENING HORROR. His official statement on the matter reads as follows:
"This is some sad news from me but I had to quit playing for SICKENING HORROR. We had some major problems the last year and I feel I want no longer play in this band, so I take off on this bad timing since I lose all the good stuff that supposed to follow after the release of our first full-length album. I feel really sad about it after all these years of dedication and the hard work I did for this band…although I know I don't belong there anymore.
"I wanna thank all our fans for their support and my bandmates for the good times we had together, as well as Neurotic Records and everybody who believed in this band and stayed by our side, I will always remember you…Wish everybody to move on with new and better achievements."
SICKENING HORROR last year signed a multi-album deal with Neurotic Records. The group's debut album, entitled "When Landscapes Bled Backwards", was mixed and mastered by Neil Kernon (NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE) and is scheduled for release this spring. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "The Perfect Disease", "Imprisoned in Apocalypse" and "Forsake My Bleeding". An MP3 of the latter track can be downloaded at this location.
