NINE INCH NAILS: Drummer JOSH FREESE Officially Joins Touring Lineup
October 5, 2005NINE INCH NAILS played their first show with A PERFECT CIRCLE drummer Josh Freese Tuesday night (Oct. 4) in West Valley City, Utah after regular skinsman, Jerome Dillon, was forced to leave the tour because of his struggle with a heart condition.
As previously reported, Dillon played with NINE INCH NAILS Saturday night (Oct. 1) in Los Angeles after the band was forced to postpone their Friday show in Oakland, California. The Oakland show has since been rescheduled for Nov. 19.
The tour's Sept. 16 opener in San Diego was cut short after Dillon collapsed onstage. The following night's performance in Tucson, Ariz., was also postponed.
Dillon later blamed "fatigue and exhaustion" as the cause in a post on his web site.
NINE INCH NAILS are scheduled to perform at the Pepsi Arena in Denver, Colorado tonight (Oct. 5).
