NIRVANA Bassist Comes Out Of Retirement

November 18, 2006

Former NIRVANA bassist Krist Novoselic is coming out of retirement to play bass on the first tour in more than a decade by influential punk group FLIPPER. Novoselic, who played in various groups after NIRVANA's 1994 demise, put music on the shelf in recent years to concentrate on local politics in Washington state, where he has championed free speech and voting issues and even considered a run for lieutenant governor at one point.

FLIPPER tour dates:

Dec. 01 - Seattle, WA
Dec. 02 - Portland, OR
Dec. 07 - Sommerset All Tomorrows Party's Festival
Dec. 11 - London, England
Dec. 13 - Manchester, England
Dec. 14 - Glasgow, Scotland
Dec. 15 - Belfast, Northern Ireland
Dec. 16 - Dublin, Ireland
Dec. 17 - Galway, Ireland
Dec. 20 - San Francisco, CA
