NITEFALL's 'Red Moon Rising' Due This Week

June 15, 2009

Stormspell Records will release NITEFALL's "Red Moon Rising" album on June 16.

NITEFALL — which was named after the classic CANDLEMASS album from 1987 — is a mystical metal trio which was formed out of the ashes of one of the most cult '80s thrash acts from Ohio, SEVERE WARNING. Although they shared some of the bandmembers, NITEFALL had a completely different vision and sound than its predecessor and was deeply rooted in the classic epic power wetal vein.

"Red Moon Rising" is a collection of all three demos NITEFALL recorded in its short career from 1990 to 1992. Completely remastered and for the first time released on CD, the package includes a 12-page stapled booklet with band bio, lyrics, archive pics, and info. The artwork was created by Raul Gonzalez.
