NOCTURNAL FEAR Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement

September 9, 2010

NOCTURNAL FEAR, Detroit's war-thrash death-squad, has parted ways with longtime drummer Aggressor. His replacement, Witchhammer, is already learning the band's set and is rehearsing tracks for the group's forthcoming album, "Excessive Cruelty", to be released next year on Moribund Records.

Commented founding guitarist Rev. Chris Slavehunter PhD.: "It's not easy being in Detroit's and arguably the USA's fastest and most face-ripping thrash band. Witchhammer has the devotion and drive to become a true NOCTURNAL FEAR shock trooper! Our new album and shows will bear this out. Heed my words, posers — the knock on your door in the middle of the night may be us! Death to false metal!"

As previously reported, NOCTURNAL FEAR recently added new member Warmonger on bass. The band is rounded out by Slavehunter on all guitars and Devastator on vocals.

A release date for "Excessive Cruelty" will be announced later this year.

The song "Death Before Dishonor" from last year's "Metal Of Honor" can be downloaded at this location. It is also available for streaming using the audio player below.
