January 23, 2007

As previously reported, NOMINON has been added to the upcoming European tour featuring U.S. cult band NUNSLAUGHTER and DEMONICAL, the new Swedish death metal band featuring three former members of CENTINEX. According to a posting on the NOMINON web site, "This tour will take place between July 5 [and] July 17 and it will include at least one show in the following countries: Finland, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden and Norway. It looks like there will be 12 shows altogether."

NOMINON recently completed work on a pre-production recording of several new tracks, including "A Release In Death", "Black Chapel" and "Ebola". The band is currently writing and rehearsing the songs for its upcoming third album, tentatively due before the end of the year. The band describes the new material as "evil and dark death metal with a certain original touch."

NOMINON's latest album, "Recremation", was recorded and mixed at Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm with engineer Tore Stjerna. A video for the track "House of Flies" was shot during the band's European tour with VITAL REMAINS in September/October 2005.
