NOMINON: 'Recremation' To Receive U.S. Release This Month

July 8, 2006

Swedish death metallers NOMINON have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We have been informed that the USA labels behind the forthcoming license-release of the already classic 'Recremation' album — Necroharmonic/Deathgasm — will release the album in time for the Central Illinois Metalfest in Urbana, IL. Which means July 21st. Both labels have booths at that particular festival (both Friday and Saturday),and now to the SURPRISE: Three of the NOMINON members will be there to meet up with all you crazy American underground death metal freaks. Don't miss this opportunity! This is the first NOMINON album ever to get a decent U.S. release, so be sure that we all look forward to it very much. We feel honored to work with such competent independent labels and hope that the second coming of 'Recremation' will finally make people realize that death metal is THE only thing around when you are talking about music!!"

"Recremation" was issued last year via Konqueror Records (CD) and Blood Harvest Records (12-inch vinyl). The album was recorded and mixed at Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm with engineer Tore Stjerna. A video for the track "House of Flies" was shot during the band's European tour with VITAL REMAINS in September/October 2005.
