NORMA JEAN To Enter Studio In December

October 30, 2012

Atlanta's NORMA JEAN will enter the studio in December with producer Joshua Barber (YOUR MEMORIAL, HANDS) to begin recording its new album for an early 2013 release.

Commented NORMA JEAN frontman Cory Brandan: "[We] will be in the studio all of December and January, save for the holidays.

"We've already met with Josh to go over ideas and have been keeping in contact with him regularly. He came down and sat in on our last writing session in September. We worked really well together and had tons of ideas."

NORMA JEAN's last album, "Meridional", sold 9,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 45 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The band's fourth CD, "The Anti Mother", opened with more than 16,000 copies back in August 2008 to land at No. 29.

"Meridional" was released on July 13, 2010 via Razor & Tie.
