Norway's AMOK Putting Finishing Touches On Debut Album

December 15, 2005

AMOK, the Norwegian death metal quartet featuring Lava (TAAKE, ex-AETERNUS) on guitar, Necrocum (MYSTICUM, ABORYM) on vocals, Iscariah (NECROPHAGIA, ex-IMMORTAL, WURDULAK) on bass and Stanley on drums, are putting the finishing touches on their debut album, "Necrospiritual Deathcore". The CD, which will feature guest appearences from Taipan (ORCUSTUS),U. Hoest (TAAKE) and Fabban Malfeitor (ABORYM),is scheduled for release in early 2006 via the newly formed label Planet Satan Revolution.

AMOK had previously recorded three demos (2001's "Sadistic Attack", 2002's "Lava Dictatorship" and 2003's "Effective Mass Torture") and performed at the Hole In The Sky festival in 2002. More information is available at the group's official web site.

Planet Satan Revolution is an underground label that was launched in the spring of 2004. The label's crew consists of Prime Evil and Cerastes (both from MYSTICUM) and Saiihtam (better known as the second half of Epidemic Music Norway, which he ran together with Daemon from LIMBONIC ART and SARCOMA INC.). Fabban Malfeitor (from ABORYM) has also joined the PSR crew.

Planet Satan Revolution will only sign Satanic and occult-related bands in the old spirit of Euronymous of Deathlike Silence Production (DSP) and MAYHEM. But they are also open to signing acts within other musical genres. However, all artists they sign must be obscure, occult and/or satanic in an atmospheric and "true" way. The label has so far released MYSTICUM's "Lost Masters of the Universe". A compilation of early NIDINGR recordings will follow after the release of AMOK's debut album, "Necrospiritual Deathcore".

Planet Satan Revolution is primarily distributed via Aftermath Music.
