April 16, 2007

Norwegian black metallers VRAGVOLD have added a "taster" to their MySpace page made up of tracks from their forthcoming demo entitled "Krig Hat Pest Selvforakt" (War Hate Pestilence Self-Hatred),together with the full-length version of "Prophecy of the Fallen".

"Krig Hat Pest Selvforakt" will be the first release for the five-piece band, comprising Vrag on guitar; Svartravn (SVARTRAVN SORGTUNG) on bass and backing vocals; Vantro on vocals; AC (TYPHUS) on guitar and Askesorg on drums, and they are currently planning to look for a label.

VRAGVOLD recently signed with a U.K.-based manager specializing in black metal.

Commented Vrag: "We now have a manager who works with several great black metal bands such as BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, WRITTEN IN TORMENT, SINDECADE, SLAGMAUR, and, of course, legendary former MAYHEM vocalist Maniac and his new band SKITLIV. When you consider the calibre of bands and musicians she deals with, some who are icons for us, you could say that we are more than a little happy that she agreed to work with a new band like VRAGVOLD."
