NOSTRADAMEUS Frontman Enrolls In Swedish Police Academy
September 29, 2004Freddy Persson, frontman for the Swedish melodic metallers NOSTRADAMEUS, has reportedly enrolled in the Swedish police academy. Persson's position as the lead singer of NOSTRADAMEUS will apparently remain unaffected by his new career in law enforcement.
NOSTRADAMEUS are scheduled to release their fourth album, entitled "Hellbound", on October 25 via Germany's AFM Records. The follow-up to 2003's "The Third Prophecy" was produced and mixed at the well known RoastingHouse Studios in Malmö, Sweden by Anders "Theo" Theander, who managed to achieve "a powerful, yet well-balanced harmonic sound," according to a press release. On November 1, AFM will release a NOSTRADAMEUS box set containing the band's first three releases: "Words of Nostradameus", "The Prophet of Evil" and "The Third Prophecy". The box set will be sold for the price of a single CD.
