NOVEMBRE Forced To Pull Out Of HELLHOUNDS FEST; Band To Tour Europe With EVERGREY

January 31, 2009

Italy's NOVEMBRE has been forced to pull out of the upcoming Hellhounds Fest 2009 tour (see poster below) featuring TIAMAT, THE 69 EYES and AVA INFERI, which is scheduled to kick off February 10 in Hamburg, Germany. According to the trek's organizer, Henk Mol of Holland's Vain Productions, "[Berlin, Germany's gothic rock act] SCREAM SILENCE has cancelled their participation in the Hellhounds Fest, and due to the short notice to find a suitable replacement, we are facing major production and logistic difficulties. This has forced us to cut down the package and cancel NOVEMBRE on this tour. We all regret that we had to come to this decision. So the lineup for the Hellhounds Fest will be: TIAMAT + THE 69 EYES + AVA INFERI. All bands will play a longer set. On February 28, ASRAI will join the Hellhounds Fest at the Boerderij in Zoetermeer [Netherlands]. For fans of NOVEMBRE: Don't worry as we will instead offer you a new chance to see NOVEMBRE live this spring! We can hereby announce that NOVEMBRE will now team up with EVERGREY for a tour in April."

NOVEMBRE's latest album, "The Blue", was released in November 2007 via Peaceville Records. The CD was recorded at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland with producer Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, SENTENCED, AMORPHIS).

NOVEMBRE's third album, "Classica" (1999),which is hailed as a masterpiece of atmospheric and progressive doom/death metal, was re-released by the band's current label, Peaceville Records, on October 27. The reissue includes three bonus tracks of rare demo recordings.
