OBSCURA Taps DARK FORTRESS Drummer For European Tour

German death metal band OBSCURA has issued the following update:

"Jonas [Baumgartl, drums] is forced to sit out our upcoming European tour in September, so Seraph, known as the drummer of German black metallers DARK FORTRESS will join us on our trip."

OBSCURA will team up with AGONIZE from Bosnia & Herzegovina for a 23-date European tour in September.

OBSCURA recently announced the addition of second guitarist Johannes Rennig (PROFANITY) to the group's ranks.

The band's upcoming CD will be recorded with V. Santura (DARK FORTRESS) at The Crypt Studios in Germany. The cover art and layout will be created by German artist Timo Wuerz.

Released last year, OBSCURA's debut album, "Retribution", was produced by Alex Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES) and includes guest appearances by V. Santura (DARK FORTRESS),Matthias Röderer (ATROCITY),Thorsten Bauer (ATROCITY) and Martl (PROFANITY).
