OCEANS OF SADNESS Singer Diagnosed With Collapsing Lung, Band Cancel Tour Dates

November 4, 2004

Belgian melodic death metallers OCEANS OF SADNESS have been forced to cancel all previously scheduled tour dates after their singer, Tijs Vanneste, became hospitalized with a collapsed lung. "Since it's the second time this happens, he will probably be facing surgery," the band write on their web site.

OCEANS OF SADNESS' third full-length album, "Send In the Clowns", is scheduled for release in late November. The follow-up to 2002's "Laughing Tears * Crying Smile" was recorded at Midas Studio in Lokeren, Belgium with producer Tony De Block and was mastered by Attie Bauw (JUDAS PRIEST, GOREFEST, CHANNEL ZERO). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Precious Gold", "Two Voices", "Wild Mysterie" and "Who's in Control?"
