OH THE HORROR Sign With PLAY THE ASSASSIN RECORDS

Play The Assassin Records has announced the signing of OH THE HORROR. Hailing from New Jersey, this five-piece are prepping their debut release, "Hands Pressed against the Glass", due mid-May. Drawing influences from bands like the DEFTONES, THE MARS VOLTA, GLASSJAW, and RADIOHEAD, OH THE HORROR has sculpted their own version of hard rock. Brutal, yet catchy vocals play upon groove-oriented riffs and ambience, leaving just enough room for some progressive motifs; painting this band a personality all their own.

OH THE HORROR's first single, "Like Clockwork", will be going for adds at commercial and college radio in mid May to coincide with the album release. A vigorous touring schedule has already begun as he band will continue to branch out along the east coast spreading their demonic brand of rock. Three unmastered songs can be previewed at their MySpace page.

Play The Assassin Records is an independent rock label based out of Long Island, New York. OH THE HORROR's "Hands Pressed against the Glass" will be the label's third release in its two-year existence.
