OMEN Hard At Work On 'Hammer Damage'

March 10, 2009

OMEN drummer Danny White has started laying down tracks for the band's next album, "Hammer Damage", for a tentative summer release. The CD will feature all-new songs performed by the group's new lineup and will mark a return to OMEN's roots. A South American tour will begin later in the year, followed by the band's appearance at Germany's Swordbrothers Festival VIII in September.

OMEN last year released a live album, "Into the Arena: 20 Years Live", which contained previously unreleased recordings of the band's original lineup.

Danny White, along with OMEN singer George Call, is also in the power metal band ASKA, which has a European tour slated for April and will appear at the Keep It True XII festival on April 24-25 at the Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.
