OMEN Returns From Hiatus, Announces Tour Dates

August 3, 2006

After a two-year hiatus, classic metallers OMEN have scheduled dates in the U.S. and Europe in August and September. In addition, the band has re-signed with Jeff Keller Management LLC, their management representation during their critically acclaimed last release, "Eternal Black Dawn" (2003).

The current OMEN lineup features original guitarist/songwriter Kenny Powell, as well as Kevin Goocher, the vocalist that appeared on "Eternal Black Dawn". The new rhythm section includes Glenn Malicki (bass) and Danny White (drums),both of whom also play in Kevin Goocher's other band, PHANTOM-X.

OMEN manager Jeff Keller is very pleased to have OMEN back on his company's roster, which also includes arena rockers AMERICAN HEARTBREAK (Liquor and Poker/Century Media),and U.S. symphonic black metallers SOTHIS. "I was pleased to hear that Kenny Powell had made the choice to get OMEN going again," said Keller. "They were greatly missed in the metal scene, and to have them back is great news."
