OMMATIDIA Signs With SEASON OF MIST

OMMATIDIA (formerly PRETENCE),the new band featuring Nicolas Chevrollier and Vincent Danhier (ex-THE OLD DEAD TREE),Guillaume Host (DUSTBOWL),Gilles (JARELL) and Olivier (SINN),has inked a deal with Season Of Mist. The group's debut album, "In This Life, Or The Next", was recorded at Tour Fine Studio and was mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street (PARADISE LOST, OPETH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK) in Örebro, Sweden. A March 21, 2011 release is expected.

Commented Nicolas and Vincent: "We have already enjoyed working together with Season Of Mist for the three albums of THE OLD DEAD TREE. We are therefore delighted to launch a new partnership for OMMATIDIA with the whole label crew that we appreciate on both professional and human sides! We fully trust them for giving us the opportunity to benefit from a real international promotion and distribution, among all the great bands on their roster."

The music of OMMATIDIA has been described as "dark melodic metal" with influences from such acts as PARADISE LOST, KATATONIA, SLAYER and TOOL.
