Finnish death metallers OMNIUM GATHERUM will headline a nine-date U.K. tour, dubbed the "Under the Earth UK 2006" tour, in September. Support on the shows will come from BLACK RIVER PROJECT. The dates are as follows:

Sep. 25 - Bradford Rios - Bradford, UK
Sep. 26 - The Star & Garter - Manchester, UK

In other news, OMNIUM GATHERUM will enter the studio before the end of the year to begin recording its third album, tentatively titled "Ride the Snake's Way". "Looking forward to this as it's really going to be 'THE' OG album — means the best of them so far!" the band writes on its web site.

OMNIUM GATHERUM recently uploaded two new tracks to their MySpace profile. The songs — "A Part of God" and "Undertaker" — are taken from the group's latest promotional recording, which the band is currently using to procure a new record deal. The demo marks the first material recorded with brand new OMNIUM GATHERUM vocalist Jukka Pelkonen, who joined the group in May.

OMNIUM GATHERUM parted ways with Nuclear Blast Records last year. The band's latest album, "Years in Waste", was released in the U.S. in March 2005. The follow-up to 2003's "Spirits and August Light" was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland with producer Nino Laurenne and engineer Teemu Aalto.
