ONSLAUGHT Guitarist Interviewed In Bulgaria (Video)
October 13, 2012Metal Hangar 18 conducted an interview with guitarist Nige Rockett of British thrashers ONSLAUGHT before the band's October 12 performance at the "Thrashing Mania XII" festival at the R.B.F. club in Sofia, Bulgaria. You can now watch the chat below.
As previously reported, ONSLAUGHT lead guitarist Andy Rosser-Davies is not taking part in the European leg of the band's "Full Force" tour that started last month at Dynamo in Eindhoven, Holland. He is being temporarily replaced by ex-COLLAPSE guitarist Allen Leigh Chambers.
ONSLAUGHT's current tour sees the band performing its 1986 album, "The Force", in its entirety. The band has also recorded a new version of its classic song "Metal Forces", for inclusion as a bonus track on the re-release of the band's 1986 album, "The Force", available on AFM Records. The set contains revised artwork and some sleeve notes written by guitarist Nige Rockett.
ONSLAUGHT is tentatively scheduled to enter the studio at the end of the year to record its new album for a spring release via AFM Records.
ONSLAUGHT recruited Michael Hourihan (EXTREME NOISE TERROR, DESECRATION) to play the drums following last year's departure of Steve Grice.
ONSLAUGHT's fifth album, "Sounds Of Violence", was released in January 2011 via AFM Records.
