ORANGE GOBLIN: Rushden Concert Cancelled
October 24, 2007British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:
"Unfortunately, the ORANGE GOBLIN show at The Attic in Rushden on Friday, November 9 has been cancelled. This is due to the venue being closed down. The promoters and the band tried desperately to find an alternative venue in the area to make the show happen but at such late notice it was not possible and a decision has been made to cancel the show. ORANGE GOBLIN apologise to everyone for this but are powerless to do anything about the situation."
As previously reported, ORANGE GOBLIN has scheduled a special Christmas show on Saturday, December 8 at the Islington Carling Academy in London. Support at the gig will come from North Carolina sludge-meisters SOURVEIN and hard-rocking U.K. hopefuls JOSIAH.
ORANGE GOBLIN's new CD, "Healing through Fire", was released in May through Sanctuary Records. The album was initially released as a CD with a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the band's headline show at London's Mean Fiddler in December 2006.
