July 12, 2007

British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"ORANGE GOBLIN are honored to have been asked to record some sessions at the legendary BBC studios at Maida Vale in London. These sessions will be used exclusively for Dan Carter's Radio 1 'Rock Show'. The recording will take place on Friday, August 17th and we will let you know the transmission date as soon as it is confirmed.

"In other news, the band are pleased to announce that they will be returning to Norway for a one-off show at the John Dee venue in Oslo on Saturday, February 16th, 2008. There are plans currently being made for more shows around Scandinavia in 2008, as well as extensive tours in the USA, Australia, Japan and mainland Europe."

ORANGE GOBLIN's new CD, "Healing Through Fire", was released in May through Sanctuary Records. The album was initially released as a CD with a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the band's headline show at London's Mean Fiddler in December 2006.
