Original JUDAS PRIEST Singer's Version Of 'Victim Of Changes' To Be Featured In Horror Film
November 6, 2004According to a posting on his official web site, original JUDAS PRIEST vocalist Al Atkins' version of the PRIEST classic "Victim of Changes" has been added to a horror movie by Lee Finn for Black Plague Productions.
Al co-wrote the song during his four years singing with JUDAS PRIEST in the Seventies before he left and was replaced by Rob Halford. The posting adds that Al "can't wait to read the comments on Blabbermouth."
As previously reported, Atkins recently entered the studio to record the seventh song for his upcoming solo project, entitled "Demon Deceiver". The track, entitled "Bleeding", features contributions from the following musicians: Pete Emms (bass),Mike de Jager (guitar),Simon Lees (guitar, BUDGIE) and Mick Hales (drums).
Atkins' band THE DENIAL, also featuring ex-IRON MAIDEN/PRAYING MANTIS guitarist Dennis Stratton, is currently on a break while the members pursue other projects. Al is also said to be finishing off his book he is writing about the early years of JUDAS PRIEST, entitled "Dawn of the Metal Gods".
