Original STATUS QUO Lineup To Reunite For U.K. Tour

November 6, 2012

The original STATUS QUO lineup — Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan — will reunite for a one-off, never-to-be-repeated series of U.K. dates in March 2013.

Tickets will be on sale from StatusQuo.co.uk only at 9:00 a.m. GMT on Tuesday, November 13 and will go on general sale at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16.

Commented STATUS QUO manager Simon Porter: "People have wanted this announcement to be made for years, and here it is. This is a real moment in the chequered history of STATUS QUO and it comes after almost 30 years of acrimony, and 10 years of lawsuits and court battles.

"Just two years ago, the thought of the Frantic Four performing again was unthinkable. Now, 50 years on from when Francis and Alan first performed together as schoolboys, it is fitting that everything has come full circle for these unique one-off shows.:

More details, including the likely contents of the set, will be announced by the bandmembers themselves at the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour awards on November 13.

The dates are as follows:

Mar. 10 - Glasgow, UK @ 02 Academy
Mar. 12 - Manchester, UK @ 02 Apollo
Mar. 13 - Wolverhampton, UK @ Civic
Mar. 15 - London, UK @ Hammersmith Apollo
Mar. 16 - London, UK @ Hammersmith Apollo

This series of dates truly is a one-off — STATUS QUO are now, and remain, Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John "Rhino" Edwards and Matt Letley — so fans need to be sure that they do not miss out.
