OTEP Introduce New Guitarist

January 27, 2005

OTEP have announced the addition of guitarist Scotty CH, formerly of the band MTF, to the group's ranks.

In a message posted on the group's official web site, Scotty writes, "To OTEP, after several months of blistering work, I want to thank you for making me who I am today. It is an honor to be apart of this elite group that stands before me. Evil J [bass] & Doug [Pellerin, drums] both bring out the best in my ability and Otep inspires me to be something great. You have created another monster for the Art of War!

"To the fans, I have seen the destruction you bring to the shows & I will be right there with you."

The Seattle native replaces former guitar player Lee Rios, who parted with the band in late November 2004.
